Privacy
No ads, and nothing sold. We use analytics and session recording to make the site easier to use. The parent helper needs your email to sign you in. What you paste into it is sent to an AI service to write your answer, is never shown in recordings, and isn't saved by this site afterward.
What we collect
- Your email address, only if you sign in to the parent helper. We use it to sign you in and to enforce daily limits. We don’t send marketing email.
- How the site is used. Pages visited, clicks, scrolling and device type, collected with PostHog. This includes session recordings, which replay how a page was used so we can fix confusing parts.
- Standard server logs kept by our host, Cloudflare, such as IP address and browser type, to run and protect the site.
What we never keep
- What you paste into the helper, and its answers. Your text is sent to Anthropic’s Claude (an AI service) to write the answer, then discarded by this site. It isn’t stored in our database and it’s masked out of session recordings.
- Your child’s details. We don’t ask for them. You can swap your child’s name for a placeholder before anything leaves your device.
Who else is involved
- Cloudflare hosts the site and sends sign-in emails.
- PostHog provides analytics and session recording.
- Anthropic provides the AI model behind the helper. Text you submit is processed under Anthropic’s terms for business customers.
We don’t sell or rent personal information, and we don’t share it for advertising.
Your choices
- You can read every guide, watch the film and print the teacher page without signing in.
- If your browser sends the Global Privacy Control signal, analytics and recording are turned off for you.
- To have your sign-in email deleted, or to ask what we hold about you, use the contact address on the about page.
Children
The site is written for adults: parents, caregivers and school staff. The parent helper is for people 18 and older. We don’t knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
Keeping things safe
Sign-in codes expire after 10 minutes, sessions are stored in secure cookies, and all traffic is encrypted. No system is perfectly secure, so please don’t paste anything you wouldn’t want seen if the worst happened.
Changes
If this page changes, the date at the top changes with it.
